RANDALL STUART [Founder, Co-Chair] is a producer, professor, playwright and theatre director who works regionally and abroad, and is the Artistic Director of the theatre troupe Upon These Boards. Randall served on the Macy's West Special Productions artistic team for Passport, one of the world's largest ongoing humanitarian benefits, and served as executive assistant on the construction phase of Rhoda Goldman Plaza in San Francisco. Mr. Stuart is a lifelong student of divinity, thanatology and philosophy, and a licensed reverend who has conducted ceremonies of note in North America and Europe. In May of 2009 Randall Stuart founded CERIMON HOUSE - A Sanctuary for the Humanities, in Portland, Oregon.
Randall received his theatre training at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco where he taught and directed in the following three decades, and has spent as many years as a visiting professor to institutions of higher learning and directing for repertory theatres, opera companies and Shakespeare festivals. His stage work includes creating classical, contemporary and "epic theatre events" including the BATCC award-winning version of the international peace event Lysistrata Project (with a cast of 100 in Berkeley). His work on stage has been seen at Berkeley Rep, Seattle Rep, Portland Rep, ACT Theatre, Artists Rep, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, California Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Santa Cruz and the American Conservatory Theater.
