What's the Summertime news at Cerimon House?

* We are now a 501(c)3 organization...a non-profit corporation in the State of Oregon, and your donations directly to "Cerimon House" are tax-deductible. Thank you to Fractured Atlas for being a most excellent fiscal sponsor for our first year of operations.

* Cerimon House welcomes Kirk Mouser as our Capital Campaign Consultant. We will formally launch our fund raising campaign in September, and trust that you'll be inspired to proffer your support. Join the Leadership Council to help this endeavor: we have a perfect building in mind, and need to acquire it before renovating it into a remarkable campus. We thank you in advance for your interest in this one-of-a-kind venture.

* We are meeting with respected Arts Consultant George Thorn, studying the efforts of effective Arts Boards...as well as getting sound advice from Kristin Patton, Board Development Consultant & Facilitator of Ensemble Consulting for long-range Board planning. Our Board members and colleagues are serving on committees and seeking inspiration from one another as we roll-up-our-sleeves for all of the necessary work.

OH Planning and Design Group Shot

* Cerimon House is collaborating with Oh Planning+Design, the respected and enthusiastic Portland architecture firm led by Deb France, for remarkable design strategies. We think "it's easy-being-green", and plan to pursue truly future-forward measures to create a cutting-edge "campus". Creative pencils are scratching and provocative ideas abound.

* We have an invaluable friend in Tom Archer of PBS Engineering & Environmental as our building project manager. He possesses the know-how of how to transform a church building into a fully-functional campus, and also how to be green about it.

* Performance Update: A roster of truly great artisans have confirmed that they would like to share-what-they-know and do-what-they-do at Cerimon House, and our programming ideas are articulated in detail in the pages of our upcoming Business Plan.

* Ceremonies Update: Recently engaged couples have been inquiring as to when Cerimon House will be available for nuptial rites - and we are indeed eager to acquire and transform a building into a beautiful sanctuary for various and forward-thinking "threshold" events. Our founder Randall Stuart officiates at a large-scale nuptial in Washington D.C.
